Travel Connection Inc, an associateship of Travel Professionals International, is a full service home based travel agency operated by Lisa Geddes. Travel Professionals have over 500 associates across Canada.

Lisa believes that being well traveled is very crucial to being an excellent travel consultant She has been to 46 countries. Lisa has visited most of the islands in the Caribbean, spent time in Mexico, taken 39 cruises, visited the Orient and spent considerable time in Europe and also been Down Under.

Lisa prides herself on delivering a personal service. She will take the time to understand exactly what you are looking for in your holiday. Peace and quiet? Lots of sightseeing? A busy activity centre at your hotel? Golf? Snorkeling? Etc.? She will get you to rank your most important attributes of a good vacation and build your vacation around your list so you get the holiday you are looking for.

Lisa will do extensive research on each destination, they have a large selection of travel books and videos and personal pictures. Travel Connection Inc will pick up your cheques or credit card payments and will drop off your documents and brochures.

Lisa attends seminars and go to travel talks sponsored by the different tour operators to keep on top of the latest tour offerings and new destinations. Each day she receive updates by fax and e-mail to new properties or changes to existing properties. The knowledge and access to information greatly exceeds anything that could ever be mentioned in a brochure. So feel free to test her knowledge.

Lisa Geddes CTC is a Certified Travel Counsellor, in good standing with the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors. CITC's Vision Statement is "to ensure that the CTC / CTM designations are recognized, accepted and valued by the travel industry and consumers as the ultimate achievement in professionalism

Lisa is also an Master Cruise Counselor with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). For this she went to the University of Miami, took courses, completed cruise inspections on many different ships and of course her cruising experience itself counted towards her certification. She has also recently completed her Luxury Cruise Certification.

Lisa has been Ceritifed as a Honeymoons and Destination Weddings Specialist by The Travel Institute. She has done all of the courses, submitted projects and passed the exam. She is also a certified Hawaiian Destination Specialist.

She is also a Certified Sandals specialist having completed the training necessary for this and also ongoing training every year.

Lisa is also a certified Adventure Travel Specialist and an Aussie Specialist. She is the only Premier Specialist in Atlantic Canada as designated by the Australia Tourist Board.
